This pristine, 30,000-square-foot mixed-use building is located in the Collins Park neighborhood of South Beach, Miami. It is comprised of ground-floor retail spaces, second-floor commercial space for offices or additional retail use and two floors consisting of 10 high-end rental apartments. The project scope was to rebuild the entire block along Collins Avenue after a tragic fire that destroyed everything except a 1920s historic art-deco structure. SRA was hired to design and construct a new structure that would incorporate the existing building and respond to the neighboring structures. The end result is a new building that appears as three distinct parts while maintaining a historical aesthetic.
