This Midcentury Modern ranch is located in the historic district of an upscale suburban town outside New York City. As such, it was required that the exterior aesthetic of the home be preserved. SRA added a new metal roof and painted the exterior brick. Inside, the high, refurbished-wood-paneled ceilings are accentuated with decorative modern lighting. The original wood paneling was stained dark chocolate to create a fresh modern feeling.
