This project involved a complete renovation of and an addition to a once-stately estate situated on 11 wooded acres. The addition to the home involved the removal of an original wing and the creation of a new left wing in order to balance an asymmetrical façade while providing the programmatic needs for the family. The new addition allowed for an attached garage, a mud room, an enlarged kitchen and a family room, as well as bedrooms above for the children. The interiors of the home incorporate traditional finishes with a modern interpretation of color and style to allow for an updated modern estate.
